I've just uploaded ghc6_6.12.1-1 and haddock_2.6.0-1 to experimental.
I would've uploaded to unstable but I didn't yet get
haskell-devscripts to work with the new GHC. I would've liked to
check that libraries would build smoothly first.
I pushed a few patches to haskell-devscripts' repository, but didn't
yet package a new version. dh_haskell_shlibdeps doesn't work
currently and I didn't try to fix it. There was a new Cabal version
along with GHC, so the way it handles packages has changed somewhat.
Libraries' package.conf files now reside as individual files in
/var/lib/ghc-6.12.1/package.conf.d/.
Haskell libraries no need postinst and prerm scripts to register
themselves. Registering is done by just dropping the corresponding
file to that directory.
That's the theory. I have yet to test it more. It might still need a
trigger on ghc6's side.
This GHC version should build on ia64, allowing it to enter testing.
Unless something else breaks.
That's all I can think about this now. Could someone else have a look
at haskell-devscripts?
