I might in about six months, but not right now. I'm the documentation
manager for Darcs, and one thing that I'm looking at long-term is
replacing the existing doc mess ("darcs help foo", manpage and LaTeX
user manual) by linking to pandoc such that "darcs help" can emit all
three formats.

But currently, I don't use pandoc at all, and Darcs is unlikely to be
adopting it for the 2.3 release in July. So I'm a bit nervous about
taking over Debian maintenance right now.

I'm happy to look into doing a one-off packaging bump in order to get
the current upstream stable release into Debian, but I don't want to be
fielding user bugs for software I know nothing about.
