Speaking as a DM with a package (Darcs) that uses Haskell libraries,
this seems reasonable to me.  That is, Debian makes a REASONABLE effort
to provide packages that satisfy the latest haskell-platform, but this
is trumped by good reasons, such as an ABI-breaking security update.
