Personally I'd probably argue that as architecture dependant files the
location under /lib/ is correct and libuhd is doing it wrong, but I'm
not the one who would need to coordinate with the libuhd maintainer to
change that.

I've raised a bug against libuhd003 (#837504) regarding the search path
for UHD driver modules.
