Re: APRS and Packet Radio Update
The alternative APRS user program that I chose is YAAC. It is written
in Java and amazed me by being fast and stable--traits I had heretofore
not experienced with a Java app. It is not at a stable release yet but
bears watching, I believe:

It also has igate and WX forward capabilities amongst other features.
