Take a look at http://www.w1hkj.com/EasyPacket.html I am trying it as
well. It installs with only 3 (three) dependencies needed that are all
ax25 related.
Download the ".deb" and use "gdebi" to install it so the dependencies
get pulled in if not already installed.
