Re: Should z8530-utils2 be removed?

Colin,

Please don't remove z8530-utils2.

I have installed this twice in recent months and will use it again on my current rebuild. The Baycom USCC>4 card beats the pants off most packet decoders and I go to great lengths to find ISA mobos so I can continue to use it.

My latest working version was Debian Wheezy with a recompiled kernel (3.11.x from memory) to get rid of smp to avoid IRQ conflict and mobo lock up.

I'm currently trying to install Debian Jessie specifically for the USCC>4.

Looking at the popcon stats it seems that it's not being used by anyone.

Does it even work with 3.x kernels?
