I discovered that the original site of the ax25 libraries (http://ax25.sourceforge.net) has been updated to http://www.linux-ax25.org/wiki/Main_Page

new developers have released new library versions
http://www.linux-ax25.org/wiki/Main_Page

can update the debian packages with new upstream versions?
