Actually there was only one I made, as the Debian libcurses-perl
package at the time was for an older version. It was later updated in
woody, so I installed the official version.

Per the Spider documentation, the required CPAN modules are:

Data-Dumper-2.10.tar.gz (included in perl-base)
TimeDate-1.10.tar.gz (Debian libtimedate-perl 1.11-1)
IO-1.20.tar.gz (for perl 5.00403 and lower, not required for perl 5.6)
Net-Telnet-3.02.tar.gz (Debian libnet-telnet-perl 3.02-1)
Curses-1.06.tar.gz (Debian libcurses-perl 1.06-2)
Time-HiRes-01.20.tar.gz (Debian libtime-hires-perl 1.20-4)
