gajim for opening python files?

After installing gajim, the Jabber client, it becomes the default
application for all python files. That's not so good, because gajim is
really pants at dealing with python files ;-)

I can't remove it from the list of "Open with..." applications using
Nautilus. It doesn't seem to be a problem with its .desktop file, this
is the MIME type line in it:

 MimeType=application/x-executable

Two questions:

 How do I remove it from the "Open with..." list, it really shouldn't be
 there?

 What causes it to end up in that list to begin with? I'd happily raise
 a bug if I only knew what package to raise it on ;-)

/M
