Argh! Probably no good for Sarge, but what bout the new upstream release that allegedly fixes this problem?
Moving back to fam is no good because it makes it impossible to eject removeable media from drives; because it pulls in portmap which listens for connections an all interfaces; and because of the occasional-100%-CPU bug.
