Epiphany performance problems

Hi there,

Since upgrading to the mozilla 1.6 version of epiphany (currently
1.0.7-3), performance of epiphany is terrible. When loading a page (by
typing an url or clicking a link), epiphany 'hangs' for a couple of
seconds (for a simple site) or even a couple of minutes (for sites with
lots of tables/frames). 

However, the strange thing is, that when starting epiphany in an strace,
everything is 'normal' (eg. before the upgrade to moz1.6).

Is anyone else also affected by this?
