Fair enough. I was just airing a general gripe, and since Jeff Waugh
and Havoc Pennington do seem to read this list thought I might get a
comment/reply/explanation...and I did: Marcelo pointed out that you
have to start from a known state, and dealing with layers of keyboard
(re-)mappings is Not Easy in the general case.
