(And with script collections like http://cream.sf.net also for non-vi
users. Soon it will also be in Debian, providing a nice GTK editor
called 'cream'.)

Also in Debian is http://anjuta.org .. with the IDE stuff disabled it's
a quite useful GTK editor as well.
