Gnome 2.6 keyboard shortcuts

Hi,

I've got a new keyboard :) 

I'm trying to set up the extra keys but some applications aren't
launching correctly. 

Using Desktop preferences->keyboard shortcuts, I set one of my keys for
"Show the panel Run dialog". This works correctly. I then delete that
shortcut and set Launch Web browser to *the same key* as I used before.
When I press the key, nothing happens (not even an error dialog). The
same happens for email and search. 

Does anyone know why these applications aren't being launched?
