Gnome 2.6 upgrade report(The bad news aint so bad)

Well i've upgrade to 2.6 last monday... and it wasnt much of a pain but
of course it could be easier or done by another way...
First add a experimental mirror to /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://mymirror/debian ../project/experimental main
apt-get update
apt-get -s upgrade -t experimental
copy & paste the packages that belong to Gnome 2.6 to a huge:
apt-get -s -t experimental install package1 package2 etc.
and there you go... gnome 2.6.
Last Monday the (huge) command was:
apt-get -s install -t experimental libgnome2-0 libgtksourceview-common
bug-buddy gnome-about libbonobo2-0 nautilus-data gnome-session
gnome-system-monitor gtk2-engines-pixbuf gnome-applets-data
gnome-icon-theme libpango1.0-0 gdesklets gnome-keyring libnautilus2-2
libatk1.0-data orbit2-nameserver file-roller libglib2.0-0
libglib2.0-data gconf2 libgtksourceview1.0-0 libgnomevfs2-common
librsvg2-2 gnome-panel libwnck-common libgnomecanvas2-common
glade-common-2 libgnomeprint2.2-data librsvg2-common libmetacity0
libgnome2-common glade-2 libgtk2.0-common gconf-editor libxklavier8
libgnomeprintui2.2-common gnome-terminal libeel2-2 gnome2-user-guide
gnome-panel-data libglib2.0-dev nautilus libeel2-data gnome-desktop-data
libpanel-applet2-0 libgnomeui-0 libatk1.0-0 libgnome-keyring0
libpango1.0-dev libgconf2-4 libgtk2.0-dev orbit2 libgnomeui-common
libgnomeprintui2.2-0 libgnomevfs2-0 libbonobo2-common
libbonoboui2-common gnome-control-center capplets libglade2-dev
libpango1.0-common libgnomecanvas2-0 metacity liborbit2 libgtk2.0-0
libgtop2 libglade2-0 libwnck4 yelp gnome-applets capplets-data
libatk1.0-dev libbonoboui2-0 libgnome-desktop-2 libgnomeprint2.2-0

Now if you do that command you'll get problems with some
packages(gdesklets and maybe others), just remove gdesklets from the
list.

Bottom line... gnome 2.6 is working here for the last 5 days... ok i
have problems with gedit(and maybe others)... it crashes but since im
not a gedit user i can´t say if anything is missing.
It´s working and most packages are only in revision 1 so... it´s a very
good beginning and tnx for the devs involved are in order :)

p.s.: -s is your friend... it simulates what apt is gonna do so you can
check if it's not going to remove something you really want.
