Hi, Following up on my self:
It was packaged as gthumb2. I'll work on packaging gthumb-2.1.0 today (including renaming from gthumb2 to gthumb).
I just uploaded gthumb_2.0.1-1 to `sid'. It addresses most, if not all, of the concerns mentioned in the various bug reports. If there are still problems, please let me know.
