This is a seperate issue. The need for gnome-themes was caused by this
bug:

But this is unrelated to the theme manager crashes that have been
reported here. Please read previous threads.

for meeting fellows in misery.

Given the large number of similar complaints here on the list, voting
for this bug sound like a good idea (although I don't know yet how
this voting stuff works.)
