Also of interest would be to know if this problem was fixed in gnome 2.4
or not. If it is we can just wait for gnome 2.4 to enter the archive,
and not worry that much about this, and if it is not, it would be
interesting to hear the opinion of the gnome team about this, especially
as redhat and probably others ship their own solution to this problem,
and have so since a long time.
