Are you saying that auto-completion is not there? I so, have a look at
/apps/galeon-snapshot/Browsing/History/completion* with gconf-editor.
I believe you want "completion_enabled" and "completion_show_list_auto".

Unless you're saying that auto-completion should be the default, in
which case the counterargument is that getting the completions list
with tab makes sense if you're used to this behaviour in bash, emacs
and elsewhere :)
