Half of sid will come flooding into testing once that one is down. In the mean time (if Michel's suggestion does not work), you could use apt pinning and run a testing/unstable mix. WARNING: read and understand all of apt_preferences man page first. WARNING: running testing+unstable might be even less stable than unstable alone (although I didn't have such problems until now).
