Problem with gtk2.2
I'm experiencing problems since i upgraded from gtk-2.0 to gtk2.0 to
gtk2.2, in facts, i lost every images i could load. I can no longer load
any image. I upgraded anything that might be causing problems, but the
problem is still here...
I cannot even start gdm, because it cannot load the specified theme,
and cannot load the deafult one, and so on. Panel starts, but i have
errors telling me cannot load image, icon, etc.
Sawfish starts, but it doesn't have any effect... (it's as if it didn't
had started, metacity works, but i just dislike it, i cannot do even
easy things like i can with sawfish), Rox doesn't wants to start, and so
on. In facts, all my gtk2/gnome2 apps are broken... anybody knows where
this problem comes from ?
I'm tried to download old gtk2.0, but libglib2.0-0_2.0.9 is missing in
repositories, and it makes all my dependancies to be broken...
You should note i'm running Sarge and i'm doing regularly some
gnome2 updates from Sid. But right now i installed near everything that
could be required and it's still broken... I think i have a problem with
a package badly recompiled, but well, which one ?
It's not a theme problem either, i recompiled the gtk2-engines-*
i use with gtk2.2 .
