libgtk2 png3 transition ... [2002-08-26]
Hi,
nope, this isn't a list of packages that need to be recompiled. That's
done. The packages yet to be recompiled won't make trouble. This is
about getting all these recompiled packages into testing. We need to
get gtk+2.0 and its dependents fixed at one version which incidentally
has to be free of RC bugs and keep it that way for 10 days. Unless
something has changed since the last time I looked into this, there
might be some manual intervention required to convinced the scripts
that it is ok to move these packages into testing.
For your reference, this is a (partial?) list of the packages involved.
These packages exist both in unstable *and* testing. This means that
in order to install the package in testing, the new gtk+2.0 has to be
installed at the same time. The later move *removes* the binary
pacakge libgtk2.0-0 from testing, which renders the stuff in testing
uninstallable. The scripts cope with that... more or less. It will
be a fun ride...

packages, please think twice about it. The uploads that do not fix RC
