Evolution 1.2

First, I'd like to thank Takuo for getting Evolution 1.2 debs available so
quickly, great job!

However, i've run into a problem I can't seem to solve with the new release.
In Evo 1.0.8, provided I selected the correct font in the gtkhtml viewer
capplet, I was able to view japanese text in emails that I received, even
though I was operating in the en_US locale. Now, however, it seems that no
matter what font or encoding I specify in evolution's preferences, all japanese
characters have become boxes or underlines (depending on the font). If i exit
evolution, oaf-slay, and then restart with LANG=ja_JP.eucJP set, the japanese
characters show up fine (even using courier.new font for fixed width font,
though the From:, To:, etc fields are just underlines when variable width font
is set to Verdana), but (of course) the interface is in japanese. Has anyone
gotten evo 1.2 to display japanese fonts while still maintaining the english
interface?

On a side note, is there a way to do japanese input using kinput2 or anything
like that in an english interface? I seem to recall reading somewhere that it
wasn't due to the way the XIM protocol (or at least the kinput2 implementation
of the XIM protocol) works, but if it is possible, I'd love to know how.

Also, should "Kerberos 5" be listed somewhere in the "Authentication" section
of setting up a mail account? If so, what packages need to be installed/setup
needs to be configured to get this to happen, as I am only getting Kerberos4 to
show up, as the K4 SASL implementation seems not to be working properly for me.

In any case, great job with the packaging!!! Keep up the good work!

-Joe
