gnome-session / metacity problem

Hey all

Since a few days, I experience sudden hickups of metacity. What happens
is that the window-manager things (titlebar) disappear, and then
reappear a bit lower to the right (at the place exactly right under the
previous titlebar). Also, some minimized windows raise, and stay raised.
I couldnot find a pattern in it, but it occurs when I'm working, and
sometimes quite often (every few minutes). This means that all my
windows shift off my screen after a while ;)

Another thing is, that multi-gnome-terminal and evolution segfault when
started from gnome-session. When I restart them by hand, they just work
flawlessly. So I expect it to be a gnome-session problem.

Can anyone shine light on that? It is just inconvenient, for I can work
around it.

Greetings,

Mark Borst
