terminal 2.1.1 w/ libvte segfaults at startup

I upgraded to the gnome-terminal in experimental, and it
crashes at startup. I get this message at the console:

** (gnome-terminal:8140): WARNING **: Failed to load Xft
font pattern "Andale
Mono-12:style=Regular:slant=0:weight=100:pixelsize=16.1751:encoding=iso8859-1:core=False:antialias=True:index=0:outline=True:scalable=True:rgba=1:render=True:minspace=False",
falling back to default font.

** (gnome-terminal:8140): WARNING **: Failed to load default
Xft font.

I downgraded back to 2.1.0-2.

Regarding the poor rendering of white-on-black with the new
widget, this is actually a problem throughout all Xft
applications. It does not perform the anti-aliasing filter
with gamma corrections, so black-on-white looks great but
white-on-black looks terrible. Look for a fix in
Xft/X/Freetype etc.
