This is the most ass-backwards thing I've read on this list yet. You know just as well as I do that users _do_ use sid. And if they don't, they'll at least use sarge. At this point, sarge can be expected to have Gnome2 packages trickle in as has happened with unstable, especially since the bugs about what the Gnome2 packages break for a Gnome1 user are not allowed to remain open. No, this isn't going to work. A little more care is needed.
