Ah, you were first.. I just noticed the same during today's upgrade..
This time with package 'gnome-utils' from experimental...

No time-out here though, it seems to be downloading quite a lot of data
(it takes about ten minutes with about 8kbytes/second)...
I'll have a look at your bug report, maybe I can add something there..
