Re: Gnome2?
hi,
GNOME 2 consists of two components, gnome2 libraries and gnome2
applications. Both gnome1 and gnome2 libraries can coexist. However you
cannot have two versions of an application. But applications compiled for
gnome1 would work just fine. What that means is after you install gnome2
beta, gnome1 applications such as evolution, galeon would work just fine.
But if you choose to install gnome2 version of nautilus, you have to
remove gnome1 version of nautilus.
