task-* packages are for selecting packages to be included in the initial
install; they're meant to be oriented towards things you want to do,
not how you want them done, so "task-wordprocessing" would be reasonable,
but "task-gnome-desktop" and "task-kde-desktop", less so.

meta-gnome-desktop was my first thought, btw. *shrug*
