The plan is to move some of the packages into Debian. I'm willing to
take over maintainership of any of the packages shipped with Helix
GNOME.

I was set to move on that, but a couple things came up here at work. I
moved to Boston, which took a bit of time, and now I'm working on a
build system for making the packages.

Once the build system is done, we'll have the architecture in place
for the Debian maintainers of these programs to build them out of a
CVS repository, if they wish.

I haven't personally tested them in frozen, but all the reports I've
heard have been good. There were a few bugs with potato support early
on, but things should work now.

If a package doesn't work on potato, I consider it a bug. Let me know
and it will be fixed ASAP.

Any upgrade between our packages and the official Debian ones should
work fine. I've made sure that I'm using the same packages for the
same things as the official maintainers.
