I believe 1.0.4 is stable and it is 1.0.5 which is changing. I intend to
upload 1.0.4.5pre1 until something final appears.

Naturally this action should be carried out in parallel.
Personally I don't think we should be packaging 1.0.5 yet (other than
test builds of individual packages to see what changes will be needed).
