Hi,

When trying to build gitaly for bullseye-fasttrack (similar to bullseye-backports but for packages that change too fast).

# gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitaly/v14/proto/go/internal/cmd/protoc-gen-gitaly src/gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitaly/v14/proto/go/internal/cmd/protoc-gen-gitaly/main.go:75:15: undefined: io.ReadAll src/gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitaly/v14/proto/go/internal/cmd/protoc-gen-gitaly/main.go:158:16: undefined: os.ReadDir

Searching for this error shows
https://githubmemory.com/repo/kkdai/youtube/issues/194

which indicates this needs golang 1.16+

What is the plan for backporting golang 1.17 to bullseye? If the idea is fine, I can help with backports.

I just noticed golang-1.17 is in bullseye-backports but golang-any is not updated. Can golang-any/golang-defaults be uploaded to bullseye-backports as well?

Thanks
Praveen
