Some nitpick,
I know these are from dh-make-golang template, but could you update,
* debian/watch, please use the git mode to track the latest commit
when there's no upstream tag.
See usan man page, and you will find the example for Go module.
* debian/copyright, there's no file matching Files-Excluded field,
please just remove it.
Otherwise it looks good.
