Do you know how to restart only kdeinit4 without restarting the whole
session? Or the KIOs processes only?

Ok. Ideally we have to find a way to fix the issue or in the worst case
display a note to the users advising them to restart the session.

I am therefore reopening the bug so that we keep track of this issue.
