Since any library installed from a project using cmake and the GNUInstallDirs 
package, is installed in /usr/local/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu, that directory 
should be in the list of directories to be scanned by ldconfig. It could either 
be added to /etc/ld.so.conf.d/x86_64-linux-gnu.conf or as a separate file.
