  ok, then at least ast a workaround you can stop using nsdc for caching
hostnames, it does not helps a lot anyway. But I shall say I do not know
what is going on :/

  You did not answered about the etch/sid question. do you have etch/sid
boxes ? do they show the same symptoms ?
