Ok, that's mean the problem is different, the only thing is common is
that it is most probably due to your configuration, as this package is
installed on thousand of machines without any problem.

First, could you please make sure you don't have any LD_* environment
variables defined (like LD_LIBRARY_PATH or LD_PRELOAD).

Then would it be possible to send us the output of ls -l /lib?
