I've got two related questions:

- What's the impact of this bug on my system?

- Will you let it propagate to etch?

I'm asking because I could easily fix the problem manually on my system,
but I would prefer to watch the package update fix it, unless 

a) it might cause weird things like packages (in a chroot) building, but
   being broken or

b) it won't be fixed in etch anyway.
