Bug#386726: Reconfiguring package to remove locales does not clean up /usr/share/locale
Package: locales
Version: 2.3.2.ds1-22sarge3
Severity: normal
If you install too many locales by mistake
(perhaps thinking "just in case") and later want
to remove some to save disk space, running
'dpkg-reconfigure locales' and de-selecting them
won't do it. You have to manually run 'rm -rf
/usr/share/locale/*' and 'locale-gen' afterwards.
