Description: GNU C Library: Shared libraries and Timezone data
Contains the standard libraries that are used by nearly all programs on
the system. This package includes shared versions of the standard C library
and the standard math library, as well as many others.
Timezone data is also included.
i've looked at online forums, i came to the idea of installing
libc6-dev(it didn't work cause it asked an older libc6 ver) but then i
dropped the idea, because it is optional package, so it couldn't be the
eurica effect.
my gcc is:
Reading specs from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i486-linux/3.3.5/specs
Configured with: ../src/configure -v
--enable-languages=c,c++,java,f77,pascal,objc,ada,treelang
--prefix=/usr --mandir=/usr/share/man --infodir=/usr/share/info
--with-gxx-include-dir=/usr/include/c++/3.3 --enable-shared

--enable-java-gc=boehm --enable-java-awt=xlib --enable-objc-gc
i486-linux
Thread model: posix
gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-13)
i just finished successfully apt-install update and upgrade, debian
sarge stable.
any suggestions where should i start if i wish to solve my problem?
cheers
