Bug#321712: libc6: relocation error: /lib/tls/i686/cmov/libnss_dns.so.2: symbol __res_maybe_init, version GLIBC_PRIVATE
Package: libc6
Version: 2.3.5-3
Severity: important
Hi!
I was taking a look at my Apache error's log and I found this:
/usr/sbin/apache: relocation error: /lib/tls/i686/cmov/libnss_dns.so.2:
symbol __res_maybe_init, version GLIBC_PRIVATE not defined in file
libc.so.6 with link time reference
Bug #321561 has a similar error message, but as disccused there, the
errors are on packages pam_ldap and pam_krb5.
I don't know if my specific error is applyed to Apache or to libc6 (so
sorry if I am filling this bug against libc6 and not Apache).
I have installed the package libc6-i686 too, if this helps.
Thank you
Nelson
