I've run it through electric fence already. No problems.
As I said I also got similar problem with chntpwd.
The *only* way I found to run atftpd and chntpwd on my woody is to compile them
statically on a sarge.

Try google, and you'll see that's a glibc 2.2.x problem. Dozen of users found
the problem and they mostly run under a glibc 2.2.5 system.
