Could you provide the proper example which saves the output to a file
in updating period?

Frankly speaking, I think it's not good idea.  As package maintainer,
I would like not to apply your wish.  I couldn't find the merit.  I
would like to see the message to stdout.  If you don't have strong
objection, I'll close this bug.
