The "permission denied" is because I've disallowed creation of new entries in the root directory (chattr +i). Thus, the "grave" severity should be reduced; the package is usable for those who allow new entries in the root directory. The problem remains, however: the libc6 package is trying to create a new top-level directory, and the changelog gives me no clue as to why. Please explain why libc6 is creating a '/sys' directory? Preferably in the changelog, so people can decide for themselves whether it's a good idea. -- \ "Remember men, we're fighting for this woman's honour; which is | `\ probably more than she ever did." -- Groucho Marx | _o__) | Ben Finney <ben@benfinney.id.au>
