Well, I don't think it's a good idea. Of those, we probably only
really want to import the regex changes and the nptl speed fix (which
is like six lines, IIRC).
IMO, we are way too far behind on the bug list for our current version
to upgrade. We haven't been able to get the manpower to fix the
existing bugs; let's not add new ones until that's taken care of.
