Bug#218303: libc6-prof: running with LD_PROFILE creates empty file for sprof
Package: libc6-prof
Version: 2.3.2-9
Severity: normal
setting LD_PROFILE to the name of a shared object and then running an
application, that loads this object, creates profile data, suitable for
use with sprof, which is part of this package.
in the current release of libc6 or libc6-prof this file does not contain
any information at all.
I only rarely need this, but IIRC this has been working sometime.
