Bug#206839: libio incompatibility with GLIBC_2_0

It seems that libio has changed between 2.3.1 and 2.3.2 in such a way as
to break fseek() for programs that were compiled against glibc 2.0.

http://people.debian.org/~pb/libio.diff.gz contains all the changes in
libio between 2.3.1 and 2.3.2.  I verified that rebuilding with the
libio subdirectory rolled back to the older version makes the bug go
away.
