If no one on the glibc side can point to a bug in glibc 2.3 that would
have caused the libcrypto dependency to suddenly become a problem, then
I imagine this is what we'll do.  I'm still curious to know what changed
between 2.2 and 2.3, so if anyone has any ideas...
