    To simplify things I have created a summary of what we need to
do in debian glibc cvs for the upcoming 2.2.5-15 release...

1) repull glibc-2-2-branch to obtain the memset.S fix for ppc to
    create a new glibc-cvs.dpatch.
2) edit debian/rules to remove the lines...
	# Stopgap, since memset.S on ppc is broken...
	rm -f glibc-$(VERSION)/sysdeps/powerpc/memset.S
3) add adjusted glibc2.2.6-nice.dpatch that I posted in
   http://lists.debian.org/debian-glibc/2002/debian-glibc-200208/msg00228.html
4) re-enable the locales-de_CH and alpha-build-failure patches in 
     debian/patches/0list
5) remove the following depreciated patches...
	sparc64-got-fix
	sparc-misc
	resolv-nss_dns
	glibc-openoffice-fixes
	xdr-array-security
	syserrlist
	mathpatch
	malloc-security
	hurd-update
	hurd-ioperms
	hurd-lfs64
	db1-addon-enabler
6) add a Depends: binutils (>=2.13.90.0.4-1) to debian/control for glibc

This should get us set for the glibc 2.2.5-15 release in short order.
